I am a portrait, lifestyle and wedding photographer. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest where I have been happy to call home for most of my life. I love music and film, local food, my dog Buddy, living near the water and adventures with my camera.

My photographic career began at age 12, when I started taking pictures of my friends. This evolved into an obsession with photography and visual storytelling. After completing a Masters in Fine Art Photography from Pratt Institute in New York City, I moved home to Seattle to be closer to family, friends and the San Juan Islands.

My style is classic yet modern. I explore subjects with a photojournalistic eye and take a collaborative approach with my clients. I seek to unfold moments of authenticity, spontaneous gestures and I search for unique glimpses of the human spirit. I take cues from photographers such as Richard Avedon and Annie Leibovitz and I find inspiration in both nature and modern culture.

My work has been published in magazines and exhibited in galleries nationwide. Between gigs, I teach lighting workshops in the art department at Western Washington University.

When I’m not taking pictures, you will find me romping around the beach with Buddy, eating fresh crab, making a mess in the kitchen, creating new playlists or binge watching Netflix.
